Gordon E. Betts, 70, passed away July 5, 2025 at the Assumption Village in North Lima, following a brief battle with cancer.

Gordon was born January 30, 1955 in Huntingdon, PA, son of Edwin and Catherine Putt Betts.

He was a 1974 graduate of Crestview High School. Gordon loved the outdoors, gardening and farm animals of all kinds.

He is survived by his father, Edwin Betts; two sisters, Kim Spencer and Kay (Curt) Turney; sister-in-law, Tracy Betts; eight nieces and nephews and many extended family members.

Gordon was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Betts in 2023 and his brother, Lonnie Betts earlier this year.

Private services will be observed and a burial will take place at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
