Gary L. Murphy, 83, passed away July 15, 2022, at Brighton Health and Rehab in Beaver Falls.

Gary was born April 4, 1939, in Beaver Falls, PA, son of the late Howard and Mildred Whistler Murphy.

He worked at Gordon Furniture in Beaver Falls as a deliveryman for many years prior to retirement. He enjoyed hunting and horseback riding.

Gary is survived by his longtime companion and friend of over 50 years, Georgia Buck; a son, Greg Buck of Darlington; stepson, Donald J. Buck, Jr. of Darlington; stepdaughter, Debra Buck of East Palestine and two step grandchildren, Ashley Ward and David W. Stratton, Jr.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ted Murphy.

A private burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Beaver Falls.

No other services will be observed.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
