Gail Lee Householder, 66, of East Palestine died on Tuesday May 14, 2024 at St Elizabeths in  Boardman  following a lengthy illness.

Gail was born on February 18, 1958 in Youngstown Ohio a daughter of Thomas (Maxine) Reifinger and the late Laurine Freckleton Zimmerman.

Having lived her life in the area Gail was a graduate of Matthews High School in Vienna OH class of 1976.  She had a love for dogs which led to her owning and operating Main St Kennels for over 30 years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #467. Over the years she enjoyed playing in local pool leagues and recently found a love for camping. Gail also retired from Mercy Health with over 30 years, where she had been a patient care associate.

Gail is survived by a companion: Kenny Smith of East Palestine; a son: David (Sara) Householder of Salem; a daughter: Christy (Chad) Dailey of East Palestine; a brother Thomas (Elayne) Reifinger of Poland; a sister: Deaun (David) Rhodes of Biloxi MS; a mother-in-law: Ruth Householder of East Palestine;eight grandchildren: Witnee (Tyler) Hawkins of Columbiana, Paige, Tomi, Karli, Julia, Taylor, Brooke, Emma and two great grandchildren: Nyla and Harper.

In addition to her mother Gail was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Householder with whom she was married for 27 years.

A memorial family visitation will be held on Saturday May 18, 2024 from 12pm-3pm at the Linsley Royal Funeral Home.
