Frank L. Lichtenwalner, 69, passed away October 5, 2021 at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Boardman.

Frank was born February 19, 1952 in Rogers, OH, son of the late Roy and Margaret Snyder Lichtenwalner.

He was retired from the US Navy after serving 20 years and rising to the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Frank worked various jobs after retirement. He attended Leetonia Mennonite Church, loved fishing, needlepoint and reading western novels.

Frank is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Zachary) McQuarrie of Spokane, WA; son, Camron Lichtenwalner of Dufur, OR; two brothers, Allen (Dawn) Lichtenwalner, Edwin Lichtenwalner; sister, Ardith Lichtenwalner;two grandchildren, Annabelle and Owen as well as many nieces and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his wife Georgiann Lichtenwalner in 2018; a brother, Clarence Lichtenwalner and a sister, Elizabeth Lichtenwalner.

Following Franks wishes, no services will be observed at this time. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
