Frank A. Felger, Sr., 75, passed away unexpectedly February 4, 2022.

Frank was born August 28, 1946, son of the late Elmer F. and Glenna McGath Felger.

He was a longtime resident of East Palestine prior to moving to Columbiana. He attended East Palestine Schools until he left his final year to enlist in the US Army, where he proudly served in Vietnam until he was wounded and received the purple heart for his injuries. Frank was an active member of the Lake Mount Church of Christ. He was employed with L.W. Nash for a number of years before working as a self-employed truck driver, mainly driving for J.P. Graham most of his career prior to retirement. When not working, he was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching the Steelers and Buckeyes and throwing horseshoes.

Frank is survived by three children, Frank (Jessica) Felger, Jr., Stefanie Roush and Lance (Cass Hutchison) Felger all of East Palestine; six grandchildren, Maggie, Noah, Layne, Eric, Anthony and Nathan; brother, Dwaine Felger of Denton, TX; sister, Elaine Weaver of Negley; fiancé, Ruth Perkins of Columbiana; her children, Don and Kristy Pedicini and their children Garon and Marlie as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He is preceded in death by a brother, John Felger and a sister, Sherry Weaver.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home with Jason Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Glenview Cemetery in East Palestine.
