Florence Edna Jennings, 75, of East Palestine died Monday May 5, 2026 at the House House in Poland, Ohio following a lengthy illness.

Florence was born July 14, 1950 a daughter of the late Howard Kuhn and Sarah (Paden) Kuhn. Having lived most of her life in the area Florence was a graduate of Mohawk High School Class of 1969 and in 1985 would complete a certification course as a medical secretary at the Columbiana County Career Center.

She worked for many years as a medical secretary, was a driver for CARTS and also worked for the Community Action Agency in Columbiana County.

Florence was an avid quilter and seamstress. She loved to grow flowers. She was especially fond of gladiolus which she regularly raised. Florence was also very dedicated to the East Palestine Church of the Nazarene where she was a regular volunteer over the years.

Florence is survived by: a daughter: Tina Rae Jennings of East Palestine; a sister: Silvia Kuhn of East Palestine and her four beloved dogs: Sparky, Danny, Lavender and Sammy

In addition to her parents Florence was preceded in death by he husband Richard Jennings whom she married April 7, 1970 and who died July 23, 1999 and  a sister: Sally Helton.

A graveside service will be held at Little Beaver Cemetery, Enon Valley, PA on Saturday May 9, 2026 at 10:00 AM.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home on Friday May 8, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 PM.
