Evelyn J. Sickelsmith, 83, a former longtime resident of the area, passed away October 8, 2017 in Myrtle Beach, SC. surrounded by family.

She was born March 28, 1934 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel Rogers Fluharty.

Evelyn is survived by four sons; David (Kay) Sickelsmith of Myrtle Beach, SC., Richard (Connie) Sickelsmith of New Waterford, Clarence (Crystal) Sickelsmith of Columbiana and Greg (Tia) Sickelsmith of Munnising, MI; a daughter, Mary Beth (Matt) Bowman of North Carolina; four sisters; sixteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Wesley Sickelsmith in 2003, five brothers and four sisters.

The family will receive friends Friday October 13, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Cemetery in Sardis, OH.
