Eric C. Evans, 48, of South Washington Street, passed away Tuesday evening, January 15, 2019 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Eric was born January 10, 1971 in Rochester, PA, a son of Alma Greiner Evans and the late Charles L. Evans and had been a longtime resident of East Palestine. He was raised in Beaver Falls, PA where he had graduated Blackhawk High School in 1989. He was employed as a caregiver with Threshold Residential Services of East Palestine.

Eric enjoyed camping, fishing, and had been a lifelong Steeler's fan and attended Bible Study at the Way Station in Columbiana.

Besides his mother, Alma Evans of Beaver Falls, PA, he is survived by his wife Michelle (Heffner) Evans. He is also survived by a son, Keith Shupp, and a daughter, Linsey Evans, both of East Palestine; a sister, Valerie Kairis and his nephew, Noah Kairis as well as several other nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Memorial Dinner will be held Friday, January 18th, from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Community Room in the offices of the Meadowview Apartments, 66 South Washington Street, East Palestine, OH.
