Columbiana, OH - Doris Marilyn Yoho "Dorie", passed away July 4, 2017 at Assumption Village in North Lima from heart failure.

Doris was born in North Lima to the late Harry B. and Helen G. (Miller) Arkwright on September 22, 1934. She was a 1953 graduate of North Lima High School where she had been a cheerleader and majorette.

She married William Lee Yoho April 13, 1955 in Morehead Township, North Carolina. They had an enduring love and marriage. Together they had two daughters, Cynthia Lynne Douglass and Billie Leigh Yoho. Besides her daughters, she is survived by five grandchildren, David, Dawn, Lora, James and Danielle and ten great grandchildren. A brother Harry (Wilma) Arkwright, Jr. and a sister, Darlene (Jay) Balough; her brother-in-law, John Meanor as well as many beloved nieces and nephews also survive.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, William, on February 22, 2016; a brother, James, her sister Delight Meanor and her son-in-law, Edward Douglass.

Doris enjoyed horseback riding as a child and teenage, winning many blue ribbons. She enjoyed traveling and listening to music and found a lot of joy in her children and grandchildren.

Doris was very zealous in her beliefs as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She spent many hours speaking to people about the Bible.

A Memorial Service will be held at the East Palestine Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 700 Brookdale Avenue on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
