Donna J. Sorrell, 76, a lifelong resident, passed away June 1, 2023 at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Boardman.

Donna was born December 30, 1946 in Salem, OH, daughter to the late Donald and Jeanetta Kiehl Boyles.

She attended Crestview High School, and then went on to graduate from Beauty College. Donna owned and operated her own childcare company out of her home for many years. She also babysat her own grandchildren. Taking care of her grandchildren was her greatest joy. She also loved fishing, camping, playing bingo and going to yard sales. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in East Palestine.

Donna is survived by her husband of 32 years, Thomas Sorrell; a son, Shawn Harmon of Boardman; two daughters, Darla Stanley of East Liverpool, Robbie (John) Vitko of North Jackson; ten grandchildren, Ryan (Kayleigh) Stanley, Ashley Stanley, Alicia (Kevin) Ambranski, Todd Kirtley, Cody Harmon, James (Taylor) Lattanzio, Bradley (India) McGovern, Jordyn Vitko, Andrew Harmon, Michael (Alyssa) Harmon; 10 great grandchildren, Sativa, Eva,Elijah, Emma, Bria, Devin, Evan, Gia, Gio and Aubrey, as well as a sister, Pammy Boyles of Columbiana.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Stanley, two grandchildren, Danielle Stanley and Devin Kirtley as well as two brothers, Donny Boyles, Jr. and Gary Lee Boyles and two sisters, Betty Sue Boyles and Patricia Boyles.

A private burial will take place at East Carmel Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held for her family and friends Saturday June 10th at her daughter's home, 11139 N. Palmyra Rd. North Jackson, OH 44451 from 12:00-5:00 PM.
