Dennis Jay Felger, 71, passed away at his home May 17, 2025, following a lengthy illness.

Dennis was born January 17, 1954, in New Waterford, OH, son of the late Laura Norton and Alfred Delain Felger.

He was a graduate of East Palestine High School. Dennis was employed at M&W Foundry from 19 74 until its closing, then transferred to Gladwin in Unity where he worked until his retirement.

After retirement, he enjoyed playing Yahtzee at the Moose Lodge, where he was a member. He also was a member of the East Palestine Eagles. Dennis enjoyed the freedom of driving, enjoyed a good beer and sharing a laugh. He also enjoyed board games and playing Uno.

Dennis is survived by his only daughter, Diane (Robert) Powell of Ravenna; two brothers, Alfred Darrel (Arrien)  Felger of Aliquippa, PA, Robert Dale (Margarita) Felger and family of Tucson, AZ; a nephew, David Felger of East Palestine; niece, Allyssa Fegert of East Palestine; his divorced wife, Kathy Buchecker; five grandchildren, Jennifer (fiance' Walker Trayes) Hayes of Columbiana, Hayat Khan of Michigan, Emily Bean, Everett and Clavin Simpson all of Ravenna and a great granddaughter, Aurora Lee Trayes of Columbiana.

Following Dennis' wishes, no public services will be observed.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
