Dale O. Cusick, 90, of Lisbon, OH, passed away on August 16, 2024, following a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family.

Dale was born April 10, 1934, in West Point, OH, son of the late Paul H., Sr. and Wilma T. (Seevers) Cusick.

Having lived his entire life in the area, Dale worked as a truck driver, last employed by Yellow Freight and retiring in 1997. He faithfully attended Lisbon Baptist Church.  Dale was loved by many and was known for always having a few good jokes to share.

Dale and his family shared their love for gospel music, inspired by their mother, by performing in many area churches.

In his later years, he enjoyed attending area music jams with Betty and Sister Jane.

Dale is survived by a son, Dale A. (Kelli) Cusick of New Waterford, OH; a daughter, Tamela (John) Steele of Green, OH; a sister, Jane Wright of Lisbon, OH; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma L. (Webber) Cusick, whom he married September 19, 1958 and who passed away on July 8, 2002; his second wife, Betty Cusick, whom he married April 17, 2004 and who passed away on May 4, 2018; four brothers: Don Cusick, Paul Cusick, Dean Cusick, John Cusick; and a sister, Lucille Drummond.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home with Rev. Charles E. Cusick officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
