Connie R. Sickelsmith, 59, "Still 27", a longtime resident of the area, passed away unexpectedly, Monday November 26, 2018 at her home.

Connie was born November 22, 1959 in Salem, OH, daughter of Jess and Fawn (Lehman) Smith.

She always saw the good in everyone, had an infectious laugh, and was very kind and loving to all. Connie was happiest when she was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Connie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Rick Sickelsmith; two sons, Eric (Karissa) Sickelsmith of Lisbon and Joe (Angie) Sickelsmith of Unity; a daughter, Jessica (Andrew Colvin) Sickelsmith of New Waterford; mother, Fawn Smith of Negley; sister, Teresa Pickens of Guilford Lake and six grandchildren who loving referred to her as Bam Ma; Kylie, Haiden, Maggie, Alex, Abi and Lucas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jess Smith and her brother, Jesse "J.L." Smith.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, November 29 ^th , from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine with a brief service to follow at 7:00 PM. All other services will be private.
