Clara "Boots" Guesman, 88, a lifelong resident of Rogers, passed away July 4, 2023, at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

Boots was born July 12, 1934, in Rogers, OH, at the same home she resided in her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Green Kiehl.

Boots worked as a caretaker, taking care of many family members and friends. She was a loving and caring person and was affectionately known as grandmother or "aunt Boots" to all who knew her. She also helped at many charity functions at the Fish and Game and Fire Hall in Negley.

Boots is survived by a son, Lenny (Candy) Kiehl of East Palestine; daughter, Lori (Jeff McCullough) Chaffin of Negley; stepdaughter, Lori (Donnie) Knight of New Waterford; three brothers, Bill (Barb) Kiehl of Negley, Melvin Kiehl of Franklin Square and Rich Kiehl; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Guesman; a stepdaughter, Brenda Miller, two stepsons, Ronald Guesman, Jr. and Mike Guesman as well as three brothers, Marion, Wayne and Jim Kiehl and three sisters, Betts Lewis, Jean Boyles and Sis Boyles.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 4:00-6:00 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. All other services will be private.
