East Palestine-

Charles A. "Chuck" Henry, 67, passed away May 25, 2019 at the Hospice House in Poland.

Chuck was born July 12, 1951 in Salem to the late Chester and Marilyn Brown Henry.

He was a 1969 graduate of East Palestine High School and a 1974 graduate of Kent State University earning degrees in Mathematics and Forestry. He went on to work for the US National Parks Service in South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and Alaska for a number of years before retiring. He then returned home to East Palestine and worked part time for the Lake Club as a Grounds Maintenance worker.  He was most at peace, when hiking, fishing, cross county skiing, camping and being around nature.

Chuck is survived by a sister, Lori (Ted) Yuhaniak of Salem; a niece Betsy Yuhaniak and nephews, Thomas and Ted Yuhaniak, Jeff Henry and Regis Collins.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents as well as a brother, Jeff Henry.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday May 30, at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine, with Rev. Mark McTrustry officiating. Interment will follow in Glenview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
