Chris A. Cox, 61, passed away July 1, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic following a lengthy illness.

Chris was born April 7, 1962, in Rochester, PA, son of Richard and Marlene Miller Cox.

He worked for over 30 years as a lineman running fiber optic and phone lines for various telecommunication companies prior to his retirement.  He was an avid steelers fan, enjoyed listening to music, fishing, going to casinos, and traveling to visit family.

Chris is survived by his daughter, Jessy (Forrest) Hughes of Elkton, VA; two grandchildren, Aslyn and Cree; his parents, Richard and Marlene Cox of East Palestine and a sister, Kelly (Doug) Andrews of Chippewa, PA.

The family will receive friends Friday evening July 7, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. No other public services will be held. A private burial will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
