Chester D. Edwards, 73, went to be with Jesus, October 2, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Chet was born July 11, 1952, in Youngstown, OH, son of the late Chester and Dolores Lysikowski Edwards.

Chet was a member of Lake Mount Church of Christ and worked as a sheet metal worker for a number of years as well as a milk truck driver for Austintown Dairy prior to his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and movie watcher. He enjoyed playing Santa around the holidays and spending time with his family and his beloved dog Reba, but most especially his granddaughter Olivia.

Chet is survived by his wife of 12 years, Jeannette Kelly Edwards; three children, Anna, David and Chris; three stepdaughters, Joy, Kellie and Shirley; a brother, Kenneth (Diana) Edwards of Hubbard; a sister, Janet (Daniel) Sobnosky of Liberty as well as numerous grand and great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 Am Monday October 6, 2025, at Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine with Tim Postle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. A private burial will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
