East Palestine-

Brian E. Berry, 56, of East Palestine, passed away unexpectedly Thursday April 12, 2018 at the St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.

Brian was born February 6, 1962 in Salem, OH, son of Andrew Berry and Regina Davis Altenburg.

He worked as a self-employed Carpenter most of his life. When not working, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, motocross and dirt drags, but most especially spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events. He assisted building the playground at East Palestine Park and other equipment that brought joy to others.

Brian is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sandra Harper Berry; two sons, Brandon Lindsay of Elwood City, PA, Eric (Whitley) Berry of Nashville, TN; two daughters, Amanda Noel of East Palestine and Taylor Berry of New Springfield; five grandchildren, Kiaya, Erik, Blake, Eli and Hannah; one great grandson, Bentley; two brothers, Jim Minerd of Columbiana, John (Amanda) Minerd of East Palestine; six sisters, Theresa Trosky of East Palestine, Beth Berry of Columbiana, Patty Minerd of Columbiana and Susie (Scott) Timmins of Darlington, PA, Bridgette Berry (John) Kotuba and Brenda Berry (Christopher) Ziegler, both of Beaver, PA; his step-mother, Hilda Berry of Chippewa, PA; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pat Davis; father, Andrew Berry; son-in-law, Matt Noel, a brother Michael Minerd and a step-father, Roy (Butch) Altenburg.

The family will receive friends Tuesday April 17,2018 from 5-7 pm at the Abundant Life Fellowship in New Waterford. A Memorial Service will follow with Pastor Jeff Schoch officiating.
