Brenda Lee (Fristik) Brayshaw, 60, of East Palestine passed away August 30th, 2026, at her home.

She was born March 16, 1966, in Enon Valley Pa., the daughter of the late Calvin & Marjorie Fristik.

Brenda attended Black Hawk High School. She spent her days encouraging her loved ones to do their best. Reminding them how proud she was of each and every one of them and to simply just live life how you want to live it. She was strong, but she encouraged you to be stronger.

Brenda is survived by her partner, George (Scott) Gilbert; two daughters, Nicole (Daniel) Halstead, Debbie (William) Gilbert; a son, Douglas Brayshaw, Jr.; a brother Richard (Paula) Fristik; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin & Marjorie Fristik, her son, Dustin Brayshaw, and her granddaughter Alexandria Sluss.

There will be a celebration of life at 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Middleton Township Fish & Game in Negley.
