East Palestine-

Betty E. Paulin, 99, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday October 22, 2023.

Betty, a lifelong resident of East Palestine, was born in East Palestine October 6, 1924, daughter of Frank and Lyda Bussard Clark.

She was a longtime member of the First Church of Christ in East Palestine. She worked alongside her husband at their SOHIO station in Middleton and Calcutta. Betty also worked in the office at S.W. Bell Company in East Liverpool with her daughter. Betty and her husband also resided in Florida after retirement from 1976- 1994.

Betty is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Brad) Oberholtzer of East Palestine and a grandson, Nicholas Oberholtzer of East Palestine.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 49 years, Donald Paulin in 1995; four brothers, Frank, Fred, Donald and Dick Clark as well as four sisters, Ardith Bricker, Marie Gotthart, Ruth Sanderbeck and Sarah Cope and a daughter in infancy Sandra Paulin.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home with Robert Helbeck officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service from 10-11 AM Thursday. A private entombment will take place at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.

The family wishes to thank Mary Lou Cope, Joyce Davis, Carol Sensanbaugher, Gloria Johnson and Bonnie Reesh for the help and care they gave to Betty.
