Beatrice A. (Davis) Mussey, 84, of East Palestine, passed away 4:31 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Covington Community Campus where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.

Bea was born June 27, 1934 in East Palestine, a daughter of the late Dale and Frances (Taucher) Britton and had been a lifelong resident. She was a 1952 graduate of East Palestine High School and had retired from the former E.P. China as a color coordinator. She was an avid quilter and taught oil painting for over thirty years with her paintings hanging in the East Palestine Home Savings Bank Branch and the former Neil's Restaurant.

She was a Christian by faith.

Bea is survived by her husband of 27 years, Glenn Mussey; a daughter, Paula (Larry) Cope of New Waterford; a son Todd (Evelyn) Davis of Negley; and a granddaughter, Natalie Cope and her fiancé, Stefano Iannacchione. She also leaves a brother, Michael Hull, and sisters, Trina Drotleff and Bonnie Gingher both of East Palestine, and Beverly Bable of Columbiana; seven step-children and numerous step-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Bea was preceeded in death by her step-father who raised her, Glenn Hull, and brothers, Baby Jack Britton and Jim Britton and two step-children.

Friends will be received from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark McTrustry of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in New Waterford Cemetery.
