Barbara J. Swick, 76, passed away December 28, 2023, at the St. Elizabeths Health Center in Boardman.

Barbara was born March 10, 1947, in Morgantown, WV, daughter of the late Richard and Jesse Frum King.

Barbara has resided in Columbiana for over ten years, she previously resided in East Palestine and prior to that in North Sewickley, PA. Barbara was employed with McQuire Memorial Home in the laundry department for 18 years prior to retiring in 2010. She enjoyed bowling and was in a league for more than 20 years. She also enjoyed playing bingo and bunco and sewing afghans and quilts and entering them in the Canfield Fair.

Barbara is survived by a son, Donald Baker of East Palestine; two daughters, Christine Myers of East Palestine, and Sherri (Douglas) Fife of Youngstown; two sisters, Beverly Garrett and Rebecca Kelvington; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews and her black cat, Terra.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 13 years, David Baker in 1987, her second husband of 38 years, John Swick in 2019, a son, Michael Baker in 2011 and a sister, Roberta Huffman in 2006.

Following Barbara's wishes, no services will be observed.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
