East Palestine-

Barbara A. Scheuering, 90, passed away July 17, 2025, at the Christian House Assisted Living in East Palestine.

She was born July 26, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late George Earl and Marion Clair (Frank) McLennan.

She has resided in East Palestine for the past 10 years, but previously lived in McMurry, PA for many years.

Barbara was catholic by faith and enjoyed gardening and crafting.

Barbara is survived by a son, Earl Scheuering of Greene County, PA; two daughters, Nadine DeMaio of Mars, PA and Stephanie (Michael) Dilworth of East Palestine; six grandchildren, Ashley (Matt), Leslie (Brian), Erica (Vaughn), Natalie (Zach), Anthony (Taylore) and Cynthia (Will) as well as 12 great grandchildren.

She was was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, James Scheuering on July 4, 2024 and a son, Eric Scheuering.

A memorial service will be held 12:00 PM Friday July 25, 2025, at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 30 minutes prior to services from 11:30 – 12:00.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Christian House and Patriot Hospice for all the help and care they showed to their mother.
