Andy W. Mahon, 58, a lifelong resident of East Palestine, passed away unexpectedly September 26, 2018 at the St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman.

Andy was born November 13, 1959 in Salem, OH, son of the late Charles "Bo" and Lois "Polly" Gorby Mahon Felger.

He attended East Palestine High School and was a veteran of the US Army. Andy worked as a Truck Driver for Acme Trucking prior to retirement. When not working, he enjoyed fishing, cookouts and spending time with his family, most especially his grandchildren.

Andy is survived by a son, Matthew Derek (Erica) Mahon of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Amy (Michael) Purcell and Misty Mahon both of Negley; two brothers, Mitch Mahon of Negley and Brian Felger of East Palestine; five grandchildren, Ava, Bella, Rivers, Bodhi and Alistair as well as a number of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Andy was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Mahon as well as three sisters, Sue Barr, Peggy Scott and Marcia Mahon Lucas.

Following the wishes of the family, a private graveside service will be held at Crest Haven Memorial Garden in New Waterford. No other services will be held at this time.

The family requests memorial contributions be made in his name to the funeral home to help offset expenses.
