East Palestine-

Amy J. Keeton, 49, passed away January 16, 2021 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

She was born July 16, 1971 in Youngstown, OH, daughter of Gerald Keeton and the late Thelma Kelly Keeton.

Amy resided at Caprice Healthcare in North Lima the past 10 years but has been a lifelong resident of East Palestine. She was a 1989 graduate of East Palestine High School and was employed for over 10 years at Bob Whites Dairy Queen, where she greeted everyone with a happy smile.

Amy is survived by her father, Jerry (Patty) Keeton of East Palestine; two sisters, Cynthia (Patrick) Day of New Waterford, Sylvia (Geoff) Craig of Hermitage, PA; three step-brothers, Evan Oates of East Palestine, Aaron (Julie Kumrow) Oates of Negley, Eric (Jessica) Oates of Columbiana; brother-in-law, Gerald McGinn of Long Island, NY as well as nieces, nephews and a great niece and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Keeton in 1999 and a sister, Kelly McGinn in 2019.

A private funeral will be held at Linsley-Royal Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery in East Liverpool.

Memorial contributions can be made in lieu of flowers in Amy's name to the charity of one's choice.
