East Palestine-

Frank Alan Kennedy, 70, passed away June 12, 2026, at the Hospice House in Poland.

Alan was born June 4, 1956, in Salem, OH, son of the late Wayne and Ruth (Garrett) Kennedy.

He was a 1974 graduate of East Palestine High School. Frank resided for a number of years in St. Petersburg, FL, where he managed Mobile and Exxon stations prior to his retirement and moving back home to East Palestine. He loved playing basketball and watching and gambling on sports of all kinds. He also enjoyed being with family and most especially his grandchildren.

Alan is survived by his daughter, Kathy Kennedy; his significant other of 23 years, Tina Hoffman; two grandchildren, Kayla and Melinda Schmidt; 4 great grandchildren; two brothers, John (Michelle) Kennedy and Richard Kennedy as well as his stepmother, Patricia Kennedy.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Kennedy.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in East Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
